The Leipzig Bridge Deck Replacement project consists of the full depth replacement of the bridge deck for Bridge No. 14, located at Interchage 14 along the Atlantic City Expressway. The bridge carries Leipzig Avenue over the Atlantic City Expressway.

The replacement work will include the complete bridge deck removal and replacement, installation of new transverse expansion joints, cleaning of the existing bridge drainage structures, the re-installation of chain link fence and traffic stripes across the bridge. The deck replacement will help to improve safety and rideability and extend the useful life of the bridge.

The work began on August 23, 2010. Leipzig Avenue is closed to traffic for the full duration of the construction and will reopen on Wednesday, November 24th.
